EE4 Multi-Ticket Discount — Work Around Solution (Per Ticket Promotions)

I read in the support forms that the current Promotions Add-On doesn’t allow for discounts per ticket. I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a workaround solutions.

We want to offer a $50 discount per ticket purchased. So, if someone orders two tickets they would get a $100 discount (currently the system only gives them a $50 discount on their entire order)

We can’t use the percentage discount because we offer 5 different ticket types with different cost. So, a flat percentage discount would be greater than the $50 equivalent on the higher ticket cost.

I know this feature has been requested already, but I was hoping someone has come up with a fix in the meantime. So, we can offer a flat rate discount per ticket purchased.

Hi Stephanie,

You can offer a $50 discount for a specific ticket by adding a price modifier to that ticket. You can set up the price modifier in the ticket editor. You start by clicking the gear icon in the row of the ticket, then click the “Add Price Modifier” button. Then you select Dollar Discount for Price type, and 50.00 for the amount.
