EE4 Mobile Scanner 404- Can not login

I’ve installed EE4 and have all the ticketing add-on plugins installed. I downloaded the HD Scanner from the mobile store for the website URL, I’ve tried the following combinations:

1. http://big33.org
2. http://big33.org/wp-admin
3. https://big33.org
4. https://big33.org/wp-admin

I use my login credentials and still get the 404 error. Please advise as we have an event tonight.

UPDATE: I’ve downloaded the EventExpresso App

and I am getting The server was acting as a gateway or proxy and received an invalid response from the upstream server. I have GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting. Please Help!

Hi there,

It turns out that the HD app is only compatible with Event Espresso 3. For EE4 you’ll need one of these apps:

Event Espresso 4 mobile app for iOS

Event Espresso 4 mobile app for Android

Sir, I have downloaded the Event Expresso 4 Mobile App for IOS and that is where I am getting the gateway error above. We do have SSL on the site.

I checked this endpoint and it’s legit:

https://big33.org/wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/events

Josh,

I am on version 4.8.43 and I am on the latest version of WordPress. The error that I am getting is “The server was acting as a gateway or proxy and received an invalid response from the upstream server.”

I have attached screenshots below:

You could try the solution that’s outlined in this other thread:

It will help if your server is using FCGI.
