I downloaded the .po file and translated the status strings into German – but no changes in the front-end. There are some more strings which can’t be adjusted.
Versions:
I updated EE4 to the latest version, WordPress is also up-to-date.
I downloaded the po-file from:

Hi there Renate,
Did you setup the macro in wp-config.php for WPLang?
Also is the MO file in this location:
wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages
Could you also let us know the strings that aren’t translating (once the file above is running)?

Also, GlotPress now has translation strings that are up to date for the current Event Espresso 4.8.x platform.
