Hello I have a few people subscribed to my event who paid upfront with cash or check. I would like to update their registration to reflect that they have paid. When I go into transactions and click apply payment, fill out the payment info with cash or check and hit apply payment, the screen stays indefinately on processing and I never see the status go from incomplete to approved. Info. |

I have the same problem here: http://www.bemadrid.com/be-activities |
I’m not able to reproduce this locally. Would it be possible for either of you to provide temporary log-in details so I can run a test registration and apply a manual payment to it whilst troubleshooting? If so please send via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ |

Sure. I sent it on. |
Hi Can you temporarily disable JetPack and retry please? |
|
|
jetpack plugin deactivated. Problem persists |
|
for what it is worth, also tried disabling wp-ecommerce and quick cache with no behavior change |
Have you recently moved hosts/domain names? The reason this is failing is admin-ajax.php is returning 404 (Not found) as EE is requesting it from the wrong location. EE is requesting /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php The correct location (based on the Dashboard) would be /wordpress/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php So I’m assuming WordPress has been moved into its own directory, was that recently? |

I worked on this website only recently, but it not has been moved since I installed EE4… |
@Riccardo, Your issue may very well be different, to keep these separate could you start your own thread providing any details of the error please? Once you have done so, also send us temporary log in details using https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ We can then confirm if the issue is the same. |

It has not been moved to it’s own directory, persay. it has always been there. My directory structure is /www/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin and there is indeed an admin-ajax.php file there. In my wordpress settings I have my wordpress URL set to http://www.msff.org/wordpress and my site url set to http://www.msff.org I have permalinks set to post time if that matters. I have only a handful of files in the htaccess folder, my index.php file reads like this <code><?php /** * Front to the WordPress application. This file doesn't do anything, but loads * wp-blog-header.php which does and tells WordPress to load the theme. * * @package WordPress */ /** * Tells WordPress to load the WordPress theme and output it. * * @var bool */ define('WP_USE_THEMES', true); /** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */ require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php'); ?></code> and I have a .htaccess file in the root as well. Everything else wordpress related is under the /wordpress/ directory. I may have followed a doc years ago to allow it to be root, or it may have come that way from my hosting provider, I honestly do not remember. I have tried very hard to keep it as out of the box as I can. |
Thank you for providing the additional information, it helped narrow this down. I have managed to reproduce this and have opened a ticket for the developers to investigate with a note to update this thread with any findings.

Thanks. I’ll wait to hear what they come back with. |
