EE4 MailChimp AddOn – Some registrants are not being added to MailChimp

Hello,

5 months ago we asked about a problem with the MailChimp addon only sometimes adding a user to MailChimp following a successful registration.

This issue was not resolved. It appeared the extension did would send the api request to MailChimp but not wait for a return, or at least not act sensibly if the api request didn’t return a success code.

There appeared to be little or no logging of the api requests that would begin to allow a diagnosis.

Has any work been done in the last 5 months to improve the reliability of the MailChimp extension? Is there logging yet that can help identify the source of failure? Does the MailChimp extension listen for the outcome response from MailChimp and act accordingly?

Can you please give an update.

Hi Shari,

There’s an update in there other thread where Tony explained about the additional logging that was added:

The additional logging was included in EE4 MailChimp Integration version 2.3.2.p.
