I seem to be having issues with EE4 and my StudioPress/Genesis theme(Education pro child theme). When the EE4 core plugin is activated, some of the widget areas on the home page disappear (Home Featured, Home Top, and Home Middle). The blog posts show up on the home page and the ‘Home Bottom’ widget area show up though. I’m running EE4.4.8 with WP 4.1 and latest version of the Genesis framework. I’ve tried disabling all other plugins as well but it didnt help. I’ve uploaded a couple screecaps of the home page to illustrate with EE4 deactivated and with EE4 deactivated. I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the StudioPress/Genesis themes or if you might have any suggestion on a solution? Thanks.

correction: The second screencap is with EE4 activated, not deactivated.

Hi there,
Can you let me know if this is happening on an unmodified stock copy of the Education Pro child theme, or has the theme been modified with custom functions?

Hi Josh, I didn’t modify the functions.php file at all. I also tried it on a different server with a WP4.01 installation with the same results.

Do you have a stock copy of the Education Pro child theme? If so, can you send a copy to support@{this domain} so someone from the support staff can investigate?
