My event is exactly a week away so it was nice to see this app added. Instead of my event showing at 11:00a-6:p its showing as 3:00-10:00pm. When I drill down and click attendees it shows me a list that all says Adult Admission and the price with a green open circle. There are no names. If I click on any of the Adult Admissions it shows me other additional attendees for that order again with no names. Just wondering how I clear this up. I wanted to do it manually instead of scanning.

Hi John,

Instead of my event showing at 11:00a-6:p its showing as 3:00-10:00pm.

That’s because the app shows times in UTC +0. Future versions of the app will factor in the timezone offset.

When I drill down and click attendees it shows me a list that all says Adult Admission and the price with a green open circle. There are no names. If I click on any of the Adult Admissions it shows me other additional attendees for that order again with no names.

When you view the list of the registrations in the WordPress admin, do they have names there?

Yes there are names in the wordpress registration overview. In the iphone app the first screen has the ticket type. On selection it doesn’t give me any identifiers for me to do any type of manual check in. Im concerned because I have a lot of people complaining they haven’t received their tickets and have also checked their junk folders with no luck. I figured if I run in to that situation I can check them in by name.

Hi John,

We can investigate why the names are not displaying in the app if you can send temporary WordPress admin level log in credentials and FTP credentials via the contact form on this page:

Hi John,

So it turns out your site has many abandoned registrations. I’m afraid the API/apps don’t have a way of filtering those out. You can view the registrations that were successfully completed by scrolling through the list. Eventually you’ll see the successful registrations. You can also go through and delete the abandoned registrations from the EE4 admin.

I’m sorry there isn’t a better way at the moment.

Thanks for looking in to that. I have been trying to clean up the registrations as I go but its tough. Ill use the search function.

You’ll find the blank registrations by clicking on the Incomplete link in the registrations view. Those can be trashed then permanently deleted.

A few tips that make this easier:

1) You can set the number of registrations that get displayed per page by clicking on the screen options tab. For example, if you set the number to 100, you’ll be able to trash/delete 100 at a time.

2) If bots are responsible for those blank registrations, you can reduce the those by installing a plugin like this one:

Yea, the problem is that all of the incomplete transactions have a transaction attached to them. I have to go in to each one, delete the abandoned paypal transaction then trash it. I guess everyone was bailing out when they saw the paypal screen.

Those are different. The ones that are blank (i.e. no name or email address) bailed before they filled out the registration form.
