I’m running Event Espresso 4.2.1.reg, the .pdf or link to the tickets and details is not included in each emails and I’d like to add it.

I searched on the forum and tried the following.

Go to Event Espresso / Management / Messages / Registration Approve / Registrant (Edit)

I tried to add the [invoice_link] or [ticket_link] shortcodes but they are simply not there and I couldn’t find anything else that seems like it.

How can I include the .pdd and/or invoice link in all the emails for the Registration Process?

Thank you.

Hi there JP,

After registration checkout, a registrant is shown a summary of the registration. At that time, they also have the ability to view the invoice and/or print it or download as a PDF.

The payment received email notification also serves as a copy of the invoice. You can also include a link to the original invoice by using the following shortcode:

[INVOICE_LINK]

Login to your WordPress admin and go to Event Espresso –> Messages. At the top of the list, you’ll see the messenger for payment received. Click on primary registrant.

Then you can add the shortcode above to the content area. Be sure to save changes.

Lorenzo, as mentioned in my initial message, I tried to add the [INVOICE_LINK] in my message but it’S not working.

Here’s the message that I get:

Certain messengers only accept certain shortcodes. What is the exact messenger that you are trying to add it to?

As per the code, I’m trying to add it to the [event_list] but it’s not one of the options. I looked at all the other fields and NONE of them accept the [INVOICE_LINK]. Is the problem only with EE4?

Right, but I need to know which message type and messenger you are using:

Sorry, I’m using “Registration Approved” and “Registrant”.

Alright, that shortcode is currently available in the payment related message types.

Are you processing a mix of free and paid registrations?

Thanks Lorenzo, you answered my question. I just added the INVOICE LINK to the Payment Message and it’s working fine now! Thank you.
