EE4 import directions

I’ve exported an event to modify for later import. Do I need to delete the ID fields so EE will create new ones on import? I don’t want to update indices that are already there. I don’t see a way to import a bunch (say, 15) datetimes update the “Datetime Ticket ID[DTK_ID]” section correctly.

Are there any EE4-specific directions on this? I know it’s an advanced feature, but without some documentation it’s pretty pointless.
