Hi guys, can you let me know if the single page event is hard coded with text as any function or poedit changes dont take effect ???

No, all the strings are wrapped in textdomain wrappers. Can you give a link to the specific page and which string you are referring to? Are you putting the mo file that poedit generates in uploads/espresso/languages?
