Oddly enough, they were working a few days ago in all browsers – but they are no longer working in FF. I disabled all plugins except EE4 & Jetpack and tested on vanilla TweentyForteen and TwentyThirteen to no avail.
Settings: Google Maps are Activated. Venue is flagged to display map.

A bit more research has identified the source…
With Firebug enabled in FF, Google Maps don’t appear in many places, not just EE. Disable Firebug and all is well. ARGH! Sorry for the added noise. I’ll mark as resolved in case somebody else runs in to the issue. Thanks for the quick reply.
