Just upgraded from EE3 – EE4 and realized that the EE4 is not currently available in EE4. Although I show that I can use it through Mijireh. Could you better explain how this works?
Yes, basically Mijireh offers a service where they take care of the PCI compliance end of things. They are basically in the middle between Event Espresso and the gateway of your choice.
Most of the configuration occurs on Mijireh website, where you configure your Mijireh store with your First Data account info there.
At this time Mijireh is the only way to use a First Data account to process payments in Event Espresso 4. Event Espresso 3 has the standalone First Data gateways.
Thanks Josh. I went ahead and created a Mijireh account but when I attempt to check out it tells me ‘This event is free so no billing will occur”. Yet the event is not FREE and clearly has a ticket cost associated with it. Can you please help me resolve this?
You should be able to resolve this by editing the event in question’s ticket prices and saving. I checked a few of the other events that are set up on the site and the prices are set up correctly on those (eg. Excavation, Competent Person and Solving Safety Problems).
