EE4 Event Status

I’m having trouble following the event status in the database tables. Can someone help me connect the dots between the wp_posts table and the wp_esp_status table?

Hi Jeff,

It turns out there isn’t a connection there. The event statuses in esp_status are not used.

Neat. Okay – so, when I set an event to ‘canceled’ in EE and then go look at that post status in phpMyAdmin, the status is still ‘publish’. Where/how are the custom post status stored? I would like to be able to do custom queries for post status.

It should say cancelled in the posts table’s post_status row. That’s what it’s doing on my test site:
