EE4 Event Registration Additional attendee issue

When someone selects Qty 4 for example, the next screen where it has the spots for attendee info, all it says is what is below. There is no box to fill in the other attendees info.

Use Attendee #1’s information for ALL attendees

This option allows you to use the above information for all additional attendee question fields. Please note: some events may have additional questions that you may still be required to answer in order to complete your registration.

Hi,

Could you go to the personal question group and double-check that the name and email questions are enabled?

They are system questions so they should be on the site as they can’t be deleted. However, it is possible to rename / re-purpose them and I want to ensure that hasn’t happened here.

Also, a link to the event page would be helpful.

When I click on the Question Groups tab, there are 4 Personal Information group names. 1 has a padlock. They all say Yes.

Hi, the personal question group appears to out site-wide which should not happen.

Could you provide a screenshot of the personal question group within the questions group editor?

We’ll also need a screenshot of the questions overview page (Event Espresso –> Questions.)

Also, when someone does multiple tickets, it is not even showing the main persons’ info…so they have no clue who purchased the tickets.

Hi Dorian,

It looks like the Additional attendee questions are not activated for your events. There’s a box that says Questions For Additional Registrants. If you want to capture information for Additional attendees you’ll need to check at least one of the boxes there.

Is the a way to make it default for Additional Attendees to ask for names?

But can you still make the additional attendees question default as well?

Hi Dorian,

Event Espresso 4 defaults to collecting a name and an email. Collecting additional information for new events would require you selecting those question groups through the event editor.
