Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before. I’ve struggled to find anything on it. I need to remain as the main email address in the WordPress settings, but my client needs to receive all the event admin emails to two email addresses. Where is the best place to set this?

I dont see anywhere to set an event admin email address for all events.

I’ve set my client as the “primary” email address in the EE4 settings but they still don’t get the confirmations.

Cheers 🙂

Hi Zoe,

By default Event Espresso sends the Event Admin emails to the Event Author’s email address (the email address of the user account that created the event)

So if you go to Event Espresso -> Messages.

You’ll find a list of message templates.

Any message that has the Event Admin context active will show the link as blue – http://take.ms/D86Xm (so in this example Registration Approved, Registration Pending Payment and Payment Declined have the Event Admin context active)

You’ll need to edit each of those and change the shortcode used in the ‘TO’ field.

Here is my Reg Approved message template – http://take.ms/m6SVx

Notice it uses [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] in the to field.

Change that to [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL] or [CO_EMAIL] to use the email address set within the Primary Email Address field.

Then save the template.

Then repeat this for the other templates.

You mention two email addresses for the Admin emails, is this using a group email or two separate addresses?

Can I put two email addresses in the primary email field and comma sparate them?

Not within the Primary contact, but you can do that within the ‘To’ field for the event admin emails.

So rather than just using [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL], you can have:

[CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL], zoe@youremail.com

Does that help?
