I saw this in another thread from 2014 that is now closed.
My client just recently started having this problem, it was working fine.
There are no caching plugins installed on the website. Please help, this is an urgent problem as my client uses Event Espresso for class registration and their biggest season is coming up.
Thank you for the reply. They are not hosted with GoDaddy and we did install a new security plugin recently, but the issue was happening before we added the new plugin.
Could you ensure that the WP dashboard (wp-admin) is loading via HTTPS?
If you are using a plugin like WP HTTPS, then you can enable the option so it loads via HTTPS. Otherwise, there is a constant that can be added to the wp-config.php file to enable that:
If that is already enabled, then try reducing the security settings for the security plugin as Event Espresso uses the admin-ajax.php file for registrations.
