EE4 email notifications not being sent

Emails are not being received by the admin or registrant. I’ve tried with a couple of different emails from different providers and nothing gets through. EE4 says they got sent but nothing ever gets received?

I need this corrected…

Hi Greg,

EE just uses wp_mail() which is a core WP function that setups up the email and then passes it only to your server to do whatever it normally would, so if EE shows the emails as sent within the message activity log then basically wp_mail() is returning ‘true’ which normally means everything went as expected.

From that point its all down to your host mail server and downstream but EE has no more control over the emails.

The first step is to confirm if regular emails are sending from your wp install, you can use a plugin such as Check Email to do this. Activate that plugin and send a test email using it, is that received?
