I’m developing the site http://congresosochmedep.cl/, where this URL: http://congresosochmedep.cl/eventos/59-congreso-sochmedep/
is intended to people can register them to the main event select the option that they prefer.

After select one and press “Register Now”, nothings happens. Only loads the blog template from the Dynamo Theme, that is that I’am using for this website.

Please help me to fix this, I need to finish this website this week.

Thanks!

Alexis

Hello,

Was this site updated from Event Espresso 3? If so, could you please remove any shortcodes for Event Espresso 3 from the WordPress pages?

The registration checkout page should have only the following shortcode:

[ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT]

Lorenzo:

Thanks for your quick response. Is not an upgrade from EE3.

The “Registration Checkout” page has the shortcode [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT], and its status on the admin page its OK for the page and for the shortcode.

I inserted the EE3 shortcode on a single post to test if it displays the registration form, but nothing happens either.

Maybe it has to be with the Dynamo Theme … I applied the plugin test that you provide, and the website passed ok, but with some observations.

Would be helpful that I post those observations here?

Thanks again!

Alexis

Hello,

Does it work if you temporarily switch to another theme such as Twenty Twelve or Twenty Fourteen?

I switched to another Theme and it worked. It seems that the Dynamo Theme has conflicts with this plugins.

Any help to can make it work?

Thanks!

Hi there,

We generally advise to not use Themeforest themes on a mission critical site where you want things to work. Not all of them do this, but a lot of the themes from there add so much additional non-theme functionality they do tend to break a lot of plugins.

If you decide that you want to go with this theme, then you may have success with disabling some of the theme’s functions until you find out which function(s) are breaking things.

If you prefer that someone from Event Espresso support fix the theme, we can look into it if you purchase one or two support tokens.

Along with that, you may find that the issues with your current Themeforest theme are similar to other reports where similar Themeforest themes were in use. The resolutions to those threads may help in this case. Here’s a link to an archive of other reports where Themeforest themes were involved:
