I am creating a registration portal with EE4 for group registrations.
I wish to modify the form such that all the fields of each attendee are displayed in rows in a table.
eg:
Member 1: Name Email Dropdown_option1 Dropdown_option2
Member 2: Name Email Dropdown_option1 Dropdown_option2
Member 3: Name Email Dropdown_option1 Dropdown_option2
Member 4: Name Email Dropdown_option1 Dropdown_option2
…
Member 30: Name Email Dropdown_option1 Dropdown_option2
I am aware that this can be achieved by some measure of css wizardry, but before I hack away at the form I would like ask if there are already existing methods for displaying all the fields as such?
Hello, there aren’t any current out of the box templates for that display.
One other thing is the number of registrants. If you will be having a large number of registrants at once with custom questions, then please keep in mind that a shared hosting platform will likely not work well.
Hi, thank you for the prompt reply!
May I know just how many members can I have, per registration, on a shared hosting platform? There will be 3 questions per member in addition to the name and email fields.
Hi, there isn’t a specific limit per say. Just keep in mind that the information that is stored requires more processing power as your number of registrations along with custom questions increases.
I would say that about 15 or so at once with custom questions should work fine but I would test this out to confirm. If there are any issues, then try raising the max input vars.
Here is one example of how to increase the max input vars:
