EE4 – Customers report not getting confirmation emails

Some of my customers are not receiving their confirmation emails (for either payment or registration).

I have instructed them to look in their spam/junk folders to see if it got caught there. Many are not finding them there however.

The email we have setup is a gmail address. Could that be the issue?

Or could this potentially be an issue with my hosting? (dreamhost vps)

We do have a maintenance release available for EE4 (4.2.7). You can view the changelog here:

If you are having trouble with emails not being delivered or ending up in the SPAM mail folder, then we recommend taking a look at an transactional email service like Mandrill or Postmark:
