I created a custom message template that I want to send out to all registrants as a reminder 1 day before the event. How can I implement this sending out action? I am trying to find the settings for sending customs messages, but I just can’t figure it out. my brain is hurting. please help.

We don’t have a scheduling system for messages as yet. It is something that has been added to our feature request list but no definite decision has been made about whether we will include it or not.

You would need to use the Batch system which is manual, via the registrations overview for the events registrants.

that’s fine, I can send them manually, but I can’t find this batch system. I looked everywhere! can you write the specific steps please.

The batch button can be found at the bottom of the registrations page in the WordPress admin.

WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Registrations. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll see it.

You’ll want to actually select several registrations (place a checkmark) before clicking on the batch button.

I did that, but I don’t see the option to send my custom template. If I select “approve and notify”, it just sends the standard approval email. How do I utilize the custom message templates? This is very confusing. I couldn’t find any proper documentation on this subject.

If you are on the latest software (, then there should be a dropdown so you can select something other than the global option:

Let us know if you are seeing something else and we will check into it.
