EE4 Confirmation email not being sent

Hi,

For some reason event confirmation emails are not being sent after clicking on “Finalize Registration”. However, the registration is created and a pending payment email can be sent by clicking the “Resend Registration” button.

Can you help me finding the problem? Perhaps if you tell me where in the code are the emails normally triggered?

Hi Stephen,

These should automatically go out once a registration is completed.

Are you running the latest software at 4.2.5?

Also, is there anything in your spam or junk mail folder?

We recommend using a transaction email delivery service like Postmark or Mandrill if they are being sent out but are arriving in a junk folder:

Hi Lorenzo,

Yes, I am using 4.2.5.

I don’t think they are being sent at all (I checked the spam). As I told you, I can send emails by clicking “Resend Registration” in the list of registrations, so I think the email engine is working correctly.

Hi Stephen,

I found the problem, the event administrator had a noreply@… email. I changed it to a valid email and it works now.

Email notifications are now working for both the registrant/attendee and event admin/event author?
