Well finally we went online with our Site and now real life shows that it is always one step ahead of a test case. So here is the Problem: http://www.phototours4u.com/workshops/koeln-fotobarbecue-fiesta-2014/ If you go down choose a Ticket click to register and then just go and leave the REgisttration Check Out Page without doing nothing at all just leave it blank you will notice that the Ticket count goes up without a proper Registration at all. Is this a malconfiguration made by us ? Any Clues what might cause such a strange behavior ? Thank you for your Help |

Hi Serdar, How are you today? Can you explain this a little more? When I try to proceed through the registration page without filling out the questions I get this type of prompt and I cannot proceed: http://www.screencast.com/t/BV55gzP7Q (that is on your website). Can you give me more detail so I can try to reproduce what you’re experiencing? |

Hi Garth, the thing is you dont have to push a button or fill a field at all to get the counter ticking ! Click Workshops choose the WS Cologne again check the Ticket count eh Voila ticket shows as sold |

Hi Serdar, I’ve tested this with the current version of Event Espresso and I can’t duplicate this issue. The Sold and Reg count increases on after a registration has taken place: http://cl.ly/image/3a0Y0d1y2X2I Are you running the latest software? — |

Hi Lorenzo |
|
How can I update to the latest Version? |
|
Activate the support license key in your account: https://eventespresso.com/users/phototours4u/ It can be copied and pasted into the General Settings page for Event Espresso. — |

I took one of the two #krys shown under: These are all the site_license keys assigned to you for enabling automatic updates of plugins you’ve obtained from us and pasted it in the general settings page in EE in the your organization tab then saved it, is that correct ? |
|
Yes, use the key that doesn’t have Free at the end of it. — |

Hi Sergar, Can you edit the event in question and check the default registration status please? I’m guessing it is currently set to approved? Change that to pending payment and update the event. For free events they will automatically be updated to approved ones they complete the registration. For paid events the same applies after payment is made.

Hi There Lorenzo,
@Tony What concerns me is: Someone clicks 1 Ticket goes to Registration leaves it immediately without providing nothing without doing anything no registration nothing he opens Step 1 of Registration and leaves it ! Fact is right now: The Ticket count for this Event goes UP one Digit. Well this is a major PRoblem because doing it often enough 12 Times in our Case an nobody can Book the Event because it shows as Boooked out. They DONT FINISH the REGISTRATION at all ! English ist not my first language so forgive me if something is not so clear but I hope I could make the Problem obvious ?! |

Hello, Event Espresso counts a registration after the member enters their information and submits the attendee information. It should not count a registration for clicking on the register button so this sounds like a bug with the approved status since there is no actual information associated. Try switching the status for the event to pending registration. If a person registers for a free event, then they’ll be set to approved automatically. — |
