EE4 – Version 4.9.9
WordPress – Version 4.6
Divi – Version 2.7.10
Since the last WordPress update, EE4 registration hasn’t been working for us. The checkout page no longer loads. I receive either a blank screen (Firefox, Safari and Chrome Mobile), or a “cannot display page” message (Chrome and IE11).
Here’s what I’ve done so far to try and resolve the issue:
– Completed all Divi theme updates.
– Disabled all plugins.
– Cleared the server cache (twice).
– Verified the page and shortcode status were both OK in Critical Pages.
– Verified that we are not seeing any errors on the server itself.
The page will display outside of the registration process, just not during it. Here are some URLs for testing:

Since I’m not seeing anyone else with this issue in either the EE or Divi forums, I suspect the problem is either me or the server. Any ideas?

Hi there,
Before we can advise a fix you’ll need to turn on WP_DEBUG to catch the error that’s being thrown.

You’ll probably need to upgrade your server to a supported version of PHP. Is that server running a version of PHP lower than 5.4?

You could also try installing the Release Candidate for the next version of Event Espresso (4.9.10), which includes a workaround for servers that have PHP 5.3.8 or lower. You can download a copy here:

Hi Josh. The PHP version on the server was 5.3.3. We updated to the latest version and that completely fixed the issue. Thank you so much for your help!
