So I have researched this and most of the time they say is is caused by having the wrong APIs or not having a SSL. I know have checked both and also have a valid PayPal Pro account.
If you are wanting to move to live mode, then disable the testing/sandbox option for PayPal Pro in the payment methods screen within your WordPress dashboard and save changes.
I was under the impression that I did not have to use the PayPal Sandbox Mode, that I would just test Via the Event Espresso Plugin by using the Debug Mode options inside the settings.
When I have that on it shows that Payments will not take in the check out form and also gives me a CC number to use for testing. I was hoping I did not have to set up a Sandbox to test this.
Is their a way to test with out using the sandbox mode?
Unfortunately PayPal themselves do not allow test cards on live accounts, so the only way to test payments is to either setup a Sandbox account or make live payments and refund the payment.
The Debug mode in EE allows you to use the same payment method, for both Live and Sandbox, you just need to switch out the credentials for which ever mode you are using and enable/disable debug mode, rather than having a ‘PayPal’ payment method and a ‘PayPal Sandbox’ payment method.
Does that help?
