Greetings – I have an event that has 26 “Event DateTimes” now configured. I also have 25 “Event Tickets” configured now too. I am trying to add a 26th ticket. So I add a new one -> then select “Update”, but when I refresh the event page the 26th ticket that I just added is not there. I’ve tried this numerous time now, and EE isn’t saving this 26th ticket. No errors, no warnings, nothing. Is there a ticket limit for an event (and if so is it configurable), or do know what’s going on here?

I can provide the URL and login credentials to see this event if you need them – let me know. Obviously, I can’t post them here.

Thanks in advance – Mark

Hi Mark,

Your web server does have a max_input_vars limit, which you’ve exceeded with the number of tickets, datetimes, and other inputs on that page. You can contact your webhost to see if they’re able to set that to a higher limit. For example if the max_input_vars limit is currently set to 1000, maybe they can bump that to 2000.

Josh – Thanks a lot. I would never have guessed that one. Special thanks for the quick response. That did the trick!
