EE4 Calendar Not Loading Events

We just installed EE4 on our site. We set up the full events calendar. When we did this, the calendar itself showed up, but none of the events were being displayed and the loading animation just continued to spin and spin. A developer here looked into the issue and figured out that the hang up was because the query was looking for image thumbnails, which our events do not have, so the events were not pulling. He added a line to the espresso_calendar.js file to resolve this issue. Is this a known issue? We are concerned that this like will be overwritten with future updates. Thanks!

Hi,

It shouldn’t be necessary to edit files like that. What you could do instead is go to the Calendar’s settings and set “Enable Images in Calendar” to No.

I’m curious to know what he added to espresso_calendar.js though, could you be so kind to share?
