EE4 Calendar – Multi Event – Select Specific Event From Calendar

I have morning and afternoon events every day and I’m setting up the events for a whole month. Every Day of the month has Morning event tickets and Afternoon event tickets to be purchased in advance.

Since there are five Sundays in some months and we do advance sales, the user sees a lot of ticket choices after clicking on, say the first Sunday morning event shown on the calendar.

I may have this set up wrong but the calendar link for a given morning event (Say Sunday morning), takes the user to a page that displays all morning and afternoon tickets for that day (so every Sunday of the month shows up), not just the specific morning ticket they clicked on, on the calendar.

After making a specific choice from the calendar they see a display to choose from to load up the cart with tickets for any Sunday of that month, Morning or Noon tickets.

Is there a filter or something I can setup with the calendar so the user only sees the event they selected and not all the other advance tickets for that day?

The site link it http://www.shiptics.com

That link should have no plural – http://www.shiptic.com

Hi Dave,

No filters at the moment. You could instead set up individual events for Jan 1, 9, 15, 22, 29 and that way they’ll only see the AM + PM options for the day they clicked on from the Calendar.

The event runs every day of the month, all year. I’m thinking I’ll make 31 events to allow advance bookings that far ahead and reuse them with a new title for the next month. Each ticket would be updated as well as the title for reuse.

Is there a way to duplicate the event or set up a default so I don’t have to go to each field for each day?

Maybe a button that says “Set as Default” and then each new page would just need the title added and the event dates changed.

Any ideas?

There’s a Duplicate Event button on the event editor page.
