Is there a way to setup events such that tickets are available individually, but if the registrant purchases 4, they’ll get 1 free?

Currently, we’ve designed it in such a way that you either have to purchase a ticket individually or buy a ticket that is named, “Buy 4 get 1 free.” However, during event checkin time, this solution leads to unwanted complexities…

Is there a better way to handle this? We have the promotions addon, but I couldn’t find anything that could solve this problem.
