Hi, in the feature comparison it states the attendee profiles are only editable in EE3. Can you please clarify how this is handled in EE4? Surely there is at least admin access to be able to view registered attendee profiles and update where necessary as this is pretty standard WP user management I’d have thought?
Also – when going to purchase EE4, it shows ” / year ” beside the cost. It’s not mentioned in the pricing that it’s a yearly cost, so I assumed it’s a one off. Can you please clarify?
Event Espresso doesn’t handle WP users or user registration, registering attendees do not automatically become users (this may become a feature in the future). However EE4 certainly allows the admin to edit attendees that have registered, and there is also a contact area which can be edited.
You can get a better feel for the plugin by test driving it, over at http://demoee.org
Regarding the licence cost, as is standard with most WP plugins, it is a yearly cost. While you have a valid licence you are entitled to support and updates. If the licence lapses, the plugin is still functional but you will no longer have access to support or updates.
Thanks for the reply Dean. I tried the test drive and it looks fine in terms of what attendee info can be accessed and edited.
One thing I meant to ask before – is there any limit to the number of subdomains which can be used with EE4? I will have staging domains etc for development.
Hi, we do not limit the sites that you can install Event Espresso on.
However, we will only provide support for the sites that are activated on your account. For example, if you had two sites, then you would need two support license keys.
