I am facing some issues when using the Android App with my EE4. The app picks up the event fine and i can proceede to scan the ticket. however once i have scanned the ticket, it does not show me an approved / rejected / declined screen. The barcode scanner simply reloads. There is a background sound sometimes, and the attendee does get checked in. There is just no verification (successful) screen that pops up.
I have tried Look-up , Continuous and Check-in Only, they all end up reloading the scanner after the scan buzz goes off.
I run https, and have tried logging in with HTTPS, did not work. The attendee does get checked -in, hence i’m thinking this is a problem with the app itself?
Also please PM me on getting the Source Code / Whitelabel app. I would like to explore that option.
That doesn’t sound right. Would it be possible to get access to the site for testing? If so, please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/
Thanks for sending. I see that you have Database Caching enabled in the W3 Total Cache settings. If the app is getting served data from a cache, then that will cause the problems you’re seeing. The first thing I’d recommend doing is you go to WP > Performance > General Settings and uncheck the box next to Database Cache: Enable, then save the settings.
I went through and tested the Android app with some test registrations on your site and it’s showing the approved and rejected screens as expected. Do you have another device that you can test with?
Thank you for the reply, I’ll try with another phone.
Thank You
