In terms of price modifiers I was more thinking the ability to add in the cost of the optional trip we have for our upcoming event only if they are wishing to go. However, the price modifier seems to add the amount to the ticket regardless. Additionally it would seem that If I was to set this up as two different tickets, then the user has to enter in their informations twice or more, depending on the number of tickets the user is purchasing.
Is there any way to make it so that the user can Opt into the Optional items that we have from one registration ticket without having to fill in multiple registrations?

Hi Jason,
Could you do something like this:
Base ticket @ base price for event
Base ticket w/ trip @ base price for event + modifier for the cost of the trip

I have done that actually as we need to fire this out today (gotta love those pressure deadlines).
Perhaps in a future patch you guys could do something like as I was mentioning where you could add in meal planning, item purchasing and other options.
As we do have multiple options for this event we have now a big long list of all the tickets and different cost effecting structures. This includes our current and not so current offerings. As a secondary suggestion, perhaps an option in the admin side to hide upcoming changes in price… such as if I were to compliment an early bird for the door cost, then have it change to the regular when the early bird expires.

Hi Jason,
Both are great suggestions! Right now we are trying to make sure EE4 is as stable as possible, but once we are satisfied of that we will be working hard to create new features and add ons for it.
