Hello –
Using EE4 4.2.6p (current). Can I configure an additional “Messenger” to a given Message Type? I use a zoho database to manage our reservations, and the events are just a small piece of it. Through zoho, I’m able to receive a specially-crafted email to add records to my database, but the only way I can see for it to work is to modify the Event Admin messenger for the payment received type. I’d like to leave that one alone, and add a messenger to accomplish my goal. Is this possible?
Thanks
Hmm.. So the problem is that the email that goes to zoho will have to be stripped of html, and is basically
field1: value
field2: value
So any messages that I’m already sending can’t be copied there because the html won’t work, and I don’t want to strip down the emails that get sent to the admins or the registrants. The ideal scenario, is when I’m in editing a message, and there’s the dropdown to switch recipient, if I could add an item to the dropdown combo box for a “Custom recipient” or some such. Is that at all possible?
We have looked into a Zapier integration which would allow your information to be transferred to various web services but this will be after the EE3 addons are made available for EE4.
