For about a week or so I’ve been experiencing random issues both with PayPal and with confirmation emails not being sent.
On a dozen or so instances within the past week, guests are showing us their paid PayPal receipts, but EE3 still shows incomplete, payment not received.
We are able to log into our PayPal account and see the payment, so we can verify on our end that they did indeed pay, but this is taking too much extra time and effort. This worked seamlessly until about a week ago.
Also, on 2 occasions so far within the past week, guests are registering for parties, their names are showing up on the attendee list, but I am not receiving any email notifications that a seat has been sold.
Again, this had previously worked seamlessly.
EE3 has all updates. Most PayPal transactions come through, and most email registration notifications come through, but not all anymore?
These issues are not a critical rush to work out, but any advice would be appreciated.
Can you check to see if the PayPal transactions and notifications that do not come through are only happening for specific events? Can you let us know which events?
You can also update to Event Espresso 3.1.37.3.p. It includes a fix for when PayPal IPN is not completing the event payment status under certain conditions.
