Is it possible to create an event that has not registration? Say I want to schedule an event called “Christmas Party”, and I don’t want registration. How do I do that?

I’m using EE3, and Event Calendar.

Hi Suchitra,

From the event editor, look for event options in the right side of the screen. Then find the display registration form option and set to no:

Then save changes to your event.

Thanks! Does EE4 now have this feature now?

If I choose not to display the registration form (using the selection box you showed me), and then I go to the page for that event, it displays a message that says “We are sorry but registration for this event is now closed. Please contact us if you would like to know if spaces are still available.”

How can I get rid of such a message on an event without registration?

Also, if an event has no registration, or “closed” registration, the date does not appear on the page for that event. How can I make sure the date is ALWAYS displayed on events?

Yes, you can also turn off the ticket selector in Event Espresso 4 through the event editor.
