We are currently using EE3 for our upcoming ticketing solution. We have come across several issues that would make things much better for our usage and improve the look of the created documents. 1) The view details link on the ticket purchase screen: Can this be set to open to a new window? 2) Currently there doesn’t seem to be a way to attach conditions to discount codes. This is a common feature in other shopping cart programs. Ideally we would like to make a package where if a person purchases 6 tickets they receive a 7th ticket free. Is there a way to create a Ticket package that contains 7 tickets to one event? 3) We are using the Event Espresso Price Modifier: Listed on the payment overview screen: “Total Discounts: -$-2” which adds 2 dollars to the purchase. Can this be listed on a second line and show a +$2.00 instead of the double-negative? 4) Lastly why does the Invoice contain the <br /> code within address lines of the invoice? Currently the heading of my invoice looks like this: |
Hi Mimi, The view details link cannot be set to open in a new window. For the promotions system, if you do not see a specific condition, then it isn’t available at this time. Buy X Get Y is not a current promotion condition. On the price modifier, could you link to the event page so we can see it? The address can be changed in Event Espresso –> Payment Settings –> Invoice payment settings. — |

To allow you see details from the price modifier you would need to complete the purchase process. Go to: http://thetacharityantiquesshow.com/event-registration/ Add a ticket to the cart and proceed to the registration page. On that page view the questions below and for the mailing options question select the “Yes! Mail MY Tickets Option” IT should add $2.00 for that option which it does. But, when you get to the next screen that is where is shows the info “Total Discounts: -$-2? For the address on invoice issue: I am well aware of where to change the settings. The issue is that currently the break HTML tags appear on the Invoice. Why are they there? They should be hidden correct? |
Hi, I believe I found the cause of what you are seeing. The price modifier add-on is not compatible with the multiple event registration add-on: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-price-modifier-add-on/ On the address, it should actually break the lines instead of showing the br tags. Were any changes made to the core plugin? — |
