Hi,

We are having a new site developed and originally ported all of our events using the import and export built into EE3 wihtout any issues. Now we are ready to go live and the new site uses the current version of wordpress as well as a newer version of EE3. The old site uses 3.1.34.1.P and the new site is running 3.1.37.1.P. We have not updated the old site’s EE version to presevWhenever we try to upload, we receive this message:

File uploaded successfully. – all-events-2015.csv
File not found. Make sure you specified the correct path.

Is there something we can change when importing the EE3 export csv or any documentation on manually moving the EE tables from one database to another. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Patricia,

I can advise running the update on the old site first to ensure the database tables match. There were a few changes to the database structure since 3.1.34.

Then, instead of using the built in export tools (which will not copy over attendees or venue info) you can use phpmyadmin to copy over the events tables.

We have some documentation on how to use phpmyadmin to backup the database here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/#backupmanual

When moving only Event Espresso content over from the old site to new, you can deviate from the steps a bit and only export/import the tables that have _events_ in their name.
