Please help.

We are running EE3 with WordPress version 4.9.8 and EE3 is gone from the back end of our WordPress site thereby leaving people unable to register. Please advise.

Ron

Our site is up and running but where the classes were listed is only showing the code:

[EVENT_LIST event_category_id=”combo-1390699953″]

Again, EE3 is no longer present on the back end.

Please advise.

Hi there,

If you look in Dashboard -> Plugins, can you see the Event Espresso plugin listed there? Is is activated?

It should look something like this – http://take.ms/SNojC

If not, download EE£ from your account page to your computer, go to Plugins -> Add new -> Upload Plugin and select the zip you just downloaded.

Can you then active the plugin?

Hello,

It seems like they are not activated as all of the EE3 plugins say “Activate.” All of the Plugins are not activated. Why is that? Have you seen this before?

Will try to re-activate the plugins.

I’ve not seen that before, but that would happen if the /plugins/ folder gets renamed on the server.

Ok, thanks. Perhaps that is what happened unbeknownst to us.

So is it just a matter of re-activating all plugins and everything will re-appear as before? Is there anything else that we should be aware of before re-activating?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Yes.

If you try to activate and they will not activate, where WordPress will show a notification that says there’s been an error, then further troubleshooting may be necessary. I’d say try to activate the plugins, it will probably be OK. If there’s further assistance needed, we’re here to help.

Thank you, Josh.

EE3 and all pertinent plugins have been reactivated and registration is back up and running.

We will run a backup prior to updating to EE3 version: 3.1.37.14.P and WP 5.0.

Thanks for the guidance. We really appreciate it.
