EE3 – calendar not showing up on mobile

Hello! I hope this finds you well.

We purchased EE3 two years ago because we needed the calendar feature.

However, I recently noticed that the calendar contents do not show up on mobile.

Two thoughts/questions:

Per the demo site, it seems that mobile works on EE4.

How difficult is it to migrate over? We have a lot of recurring events on the calendar. Do you also still offer the non-profit discount for EE4?

Or is there a way I can just update my EE3 to make the calendar appear?

Please advise.

Thanks!
Kim

Hi Kim,

Your EE3 calendar should already display on a mobile device, the EE3 and EE4 calendars are almost identical. If you go to the URL on this QR code on your mobile device, does the calendar appear?

If you can post a link to your calendar page we can take a look and offer suggestions on how to fix.

Hi Kim, the events calendar should appear on mobile devices. Upgrading to Event Espresso 4 is not required for the events calendar to work.

The recurring events manager is not available in Event Espresso 4 so I recommend continuing to use Event Espresso 3.

Could you share a link to your calendar page?

We do provide discounts for non profit organizations:

Hi Lorenzo,

Thank you for the note.

Here’s the link to our calendar: https://earthmatter.org/calendar/

Please let me know what we can do to make it appear on the calendar.

I also appreciate the heads up about not moving to EE4 because we do use the recurring events module rather regularly.

Thanks!
Kim

Hi,

Your EE calendar is being hidden via CSS and your site is showing a responsive table instead (magic liquidizer responsive table).

I would try disabling that plugin and see if that is what is causing the issue.
