To allow a particular ticket for Members only we are using the EE User Integration module. The ticket capability is set to “read” – yet non members are also able to view/buy the ticket.
I have completely commented those customizations out. (That was done at the end of the process of the other thread where I was in conversation with EE support.)
The member permissions still aren’t working even with that code fully commented out.
Is there a way for me to give you guys access for you to check it out for yourselves? I’m sure it’s user error somehow but I feel like I’ve followed the correct instructions…
When I worked through your previous thread I confirmed that each time I removed your customization’s the WP Users Add-on worked as expected, so can you double check that all customisations to EE regarding the ticket selector or user capabilites have been removed (not just the ones highlighted in that thread but any others)
I’ve tested the WP user integration add-on works with the ‘read’ capability on multiple sites and it works how your are expecting it to, however it does not on you site and the only reason I can see for this is customisations that do not work as expected.
If you would like for us to investigate this further on your site you’ll need to purchase support tokens and we can help troubleshoot but again I would first double check that all customization to the EE ticket selector have been removed as the default behavior works as your are requesting.
