Hi there,

I have recently upgraded EE4 to the latest Version 4.8.13. After doing so, I have found that custom attendee information (e.g. ‘Years Teaching’) is no longer being recorded in the Registrations back-end and has also been removed from existing entries. Can someone please assist me with this?

Hi Ian,

Are you using the EE4 Users Integration Add-on?

So you created a custom question and added it to which question group? One of the system questions or a custom group?

Is the question still a part of whichever group is was originally?

Hi Tony,

No, I am not using the WP User Integration Add On.

The custom questions are currently in a system question group, unsure as to where they originally were as it is a clients’ website.

Hi there Ian,

What version of Event Espresso were you previously using for the project?

Were any system question questions repurposed (e.g. renamed for custom questions)?

Hi Lorenzo,

I am unsure what the previous version of EE was as it is for a client and not for my website personally.

Also, what do you mean when you ask if questions were repurposed? How would I find this?

Hi there Ian,

For example, we have seen some system questions repurposed in the past such as renaming the city question to something else.

If you try a new registration, is anything recorded on these questions?

Hi Lorenzo,

I think that might be the case here – when I fill out the registration form, many of the values are not stored in their relevant fields in the backend. Even when updated manually, the details do not save.

How do I fix this?
