EE transaction issues

Hi Support,

We are experiencing transaction issues on our site, we do still get successful entries but we would like to share a couple issues that happened over the holidays.

1) A customer tried to submit payment multiple times but kept getting an error message (Laura Boehm). Stripe is showing that the CVC code was incorrect, so I called her and we tried two other payment methods, including her husband’s card, with me attempting to register her, but we kept getting errors. I did notice that each time I attempted to register her, my system pre-populated her name and email info in the payment section. Maybe this was a cookies issue? At any rate, we just agreed that she will bring cash or a check to the event and pay onsite that way.

2) A customer – Beryl Carew – registered and paid successfully for the WS Top 10 tasting on Jan 24, but when she tried to sign up for another tasting (Bordeaux on Jan 11) she just kept getting routed back to the WS Top 10 tasting. When I look at the transaction for the successful registration, it shows the Bordeaux ticket, but there is was no corresponding registration (see screenshot below). I ultimately just went into the back-end and created a new registration for her and sent her a payment link from Stripe, bypassing the payment via Event Espresso, which is why you’ll see a successful registration in there. I feel like I’ve seen this happen before, and again – without knowing much about this stuff, I’m wondering if it has to do with cookies. screenshot here, https://prnt.sc/LzqUa2NrMgyR
