I’m using the table view template on a website to show upcoming events, but it has recently started showing a fatal error. I can share the full Stack Trace if helpful.

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function external_url() on string in /home/{redacted}/domains/{redacted}.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eea-events-table-view-template/templates/espresso-events-table-template.template.php:90

Hello:

I see a similar report in other threads posted here. How do I access the old releases to downgrade?

Thanks,
Michael

I have a similar problem since just now upgrading to the latest version of EE. We use the table template to display all events and now nothing is showing up at all on our site.

I have rolled back to the previous update and it has fixed it. I guess you guys are aware of this now then and working on a fix?

Hello,

5.0.19 is now available. Can you update your plugin to that version and let us know if you still experience any problem.

thanks

So exactly where are prior releases located? I am on 5.0.17p and would like to have the full distribution in advance of even attempting an update to 5.0.19.

We don’t keep an archive of previous versions as we support the latest version and will not ‘backport’ fixes to older versions.

I can send you a download link for 5.0.17.p to the email address linked on your account if that helps?

That would be great Tony. Thanks in advance.

You’re most welcome.

However, the important part is, did you the update work for you?

This hasn’t worked for me. All tables disappeared again and I am in the process of rolling it back. What’s the solution please?

Hi Michelle,

I’ve just shared v.17 with you via the mail address linked to your account.

You can use it until the new version arrives.

Can I take a look at the site, please?

I’d like to figure out why the tables are disappearing, if that’s ok can you send temp login details over using this form:

Ok, found it.

It’s a conflict with a snippet in use within the theme’s functions.php file to remove events with expired tickets (its actually an old snippet from ourselves HERE).

Stay on 5.0.17.p for now and I’ll open discussion with our developers on this.
