EE scanner app too slow

It takes about 1min to scan 1 ticket on the Event Espresso app. This is even when the mobile phone is on the WiFi, which is a fiber connection.

What would cause such a long database fetch?

Hi there,

Can you link me to the event so I can take a look at the set up?

Are you scanning for a specific datetime or scanning for all events?

Which app, iOS or Android?

Thank you for your answer.
We are scanning for a specific date time. The app is on an Android phone.
This is an example of an event which is struggling to scan for. As most of our events, to be honest

What type of hosting are you using?

I thought this may have been caused by the number of datetimes/tickets on the event so I reproduced the same set up as your event on my server and check-in takes roughly 1 second.

Can you send me temp login details I can use with the app to scan a ticket? I’ll capture the request and see if anything stands out there.

This was solved by changing hosting providers!
