EE plugin breaks my theme slider

The slider actually worked for a few minutes and then started spinning. Can someone tell me how to fix this? http://www.kayree.com

Hi Kevin,

This isn’t related to Event Espresso. Your theme has 2 javascript errors that will stop other javascript (like the slider) from functioning correctly.

Both errors are in init.js and are the same (Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘$’ of object [object Object] is not a function ) and mean that the jQuery hasn’t been put into non-conflict mode.

If there are no theme updates (they may fix this) then I would refer back to the theme developer as this is a fairly large bug in the theme.

If for some reason you cannot contact the theme developer then your options would be limited to fixing the javascript or swapping themes.
