When I go into the event overview and click on All Attendees, it takes a long time to load all attendees on the screen. Currently I have about 650. This just started. I called my hosting providor about this first and they ran some tests and said that it looks like EE is what is the issue.
650 is kind of a low number to experience a slowdown for this. How long is it taking? I know in one case another customer had experienced something similar, and it turned out they had the admin loading over https/SSL. Switching the admin to load over http resolved this for them.
By the way, did the hosting provider give any more info other than “The issue with Event Espresso is Event Espresso?” I’m interested in knowing what tests they ran, and a little more info might help us make the product better.
Hi, I have been encountering slowness of administering EE.
We have 2,660+ attendees in the datbase, 386 events. All Attendees page will not load on-screen:
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0
I am willing to try switching the admin off of https but that would mean changing the domain from https on the domain as a whole. Security has been a paramount concern for our users these days, so I don’t want to tinker if I don’t have to. Do you have any other experiences that result in slow loading of the EE admin pages?
Cheers, Bill
