EE Lite unable to find or clear event

Event Espresso Lite was recommended to our non-profit organization as a way to create an event, online registration, and a payment option via Paypal for our annual conference.

I installed Event Espresso Lite and found the initial set up easy to use.  Upon creating an event and testing it out, things appeared to work well; I was able to edit and play around with the functions to see how everything worked.

This morning I wanted to edit the event I had created but the event was no longer listed on the Event Organizer page; however, after adding a second event the event registration page now listed both events.  I was unable to see or edit event “1”.  I attempted to “select all” events on the event organizer page and delete but only event “2” that I could see was deleted.

I then uninstalled the plugin from both the WP Dashboard and also tried via FTP manager, both options never deleted all the files associated with event espresso (the pages still listed all EE pages) and reinstalling did not solve my issues of being unable to view event “1”, edit or delete that event.

I would love to use this plugin and would greatly appreciate any help or assistance you can offer.

Hi Casi,

Thats quite odd. I assume you only had 2 events at most in the system?

Did you check to see if anything was in the Live Filter box (screen shot http://d.pr/i/ZQsk) above the event list? This will filter out events, making them unviewable until the field is cleared.

The pages will not be deleted when the plugin is removed, this is because some people change what page they use for the shortcodes and we will never know what it is called.

Also the event data is in the database in after the plugin is removed, in case of accidental removal.

If the live view idea doesnt work, please can you provide login details to your site? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Hi,

Further to this, we have had other reports of an issue and I have now verified it. I have made an urgent request to the developers to look into it and we will get a fix released as soon as possible.

My apologies for this, it should not have happened.
