Hi dear support team,
This question has been answered in the past long before People Add-on was available so I ask it again since I need this feature:
I wanna let people register their own events (like Eventbrite); of course, they need to login either with Facebook connect or another. My question: Can I do so with EE4 People Add-on and Facebook Connect for example? Do you have any out-of-the-box solution for this?
I really like Event Espresso more than The Events Calendar (they have Community Events) but my future Web site and business depend on this feature.

How are you today?
Event Espresso is designed for individual event organizers to manage their own events through the WordPress admin. They will need to be administrators, or a custom capability you build based on the WordPress and Event Espresso capability system: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/
Each organizer will need their own site so they can have their own payment account, or you can let them use your payment account and then distribute payments to them, but you will have to manage all the accounting. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/
Again, Event Espresso is designed for the event organizers to also be the website administrators.

Thanks for the answer.
It seems EE4 WP User Integration allows (upon registration) to the externals to post their own events by allow them to auto-register with a default role.

But I’m not sure since this add-on is not available on your demo site. There is any way to test it by my own? I mean, a full add-ons demo site 🙂

Hi Cesar, Event Espresso does not work well for an event marketplace as it cannot divert funds amongst different merchant accounts.
The WP User integration’s primary use is to speed up registrations for attendees since it stores information about that attendee on your WordPress site.
