Is there a central database for EE where we could access all the entrants to all our events, or are they all in separate db’s for each event?

Thanks
Angus

Hi Angus,

When you say database do you mean the actual site database?

All of the EE data is stored within your sites Database (a single database across multiple tables)

Or do you mean listing the all of Attendees within the admin area of your site?

I know how to access the Attendees through Event Overview etc, I was talking about the database that holds all the data about all the people who sign up for our events.

Is there an easy way to access that without going into the server backend? Or is it easy fora developer to create a UI, or is it a major undertaking?

The WP database of users isn’t a lot use!

Thanks

It’s not clear what you’re trying to do, viewing the data in the database can be done through phpMyAdmin or similar.

The easiest way is to view them within EE, you can also export the registrations to CSV from the save view and use the details however you prefer.

Or is it easy fora developer to create a UI, or is it a major undertaking?

That depends on the developer really, its not a ‘simple’ task but its also not that hard for a competent developer to pull the info.

The WP database of users isn’t a lot use!

I’m not sure what this means sorry.

If you are looking to export the attendee data you can do that from within EE.

View the attendee list and at the bottom of the page you can use the ‘Export to Excel’ button – http://take.ms/9PWFL

If you don’t have excel you can rename it to .csv and it should open within any program that reads CSV files (Open office for example)

I’d like to be able to access a database of everyone who has entered our events through EE.

I’m a little concerned about rooting around via phpAdmin, without any real training in it!

The WP user databased access through the admin login doesn’t provide all the data I want.

However, you’ve answered my question with phpAdmin.

Thanks
