EE 4 not showing up in WordPress

I haven’t used it for a few months (we use it for specific events). And when I went in to make sure everything was updated and setup the event, it wasn’t showing on the menu. I deactivated all plugins and downloaded a fresh new copy, and activated it, nothing. From the plugins list, I can click “Settings” and make changes, but if I click on “Events”, I get the message “You do not have access to this route.” I can see “2 Events” and “196 Registrations” from the wordpress dashboard but clicking either of these results in the same message.

Hi Samantha,

This can be resolved by going to the WP Dashboard home page, which is:
yoursite.something/wp-admin/index.php

Then you remove the index.php part and replace with
admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset

Then you click on the “Reset Event Espresso Capabilities” button.
